The night is always darkest before the dawn. Especially when the dawn is slow to arrive.

Write yourself a life preserver, Kim. Write it and make it real.

Sometimes I feel like I’m sinking too. Part of it is this awful weather we’re having here in NYC (snow, wind, goddamn polar vortex) it’s a fight to get out the front door some days. I hate snow boots, I hate nearly killing myself going down the front steps to get the newspaper because there’s that layer of frozen, just FROZEN. But I hate not leaving the house for days at a time.

I love in Chicagoland and this year we have had barely any snow. Last year, though, the polar vortex hit us very very hard. I can understand how you feel. I remember telling myself “spring will get here….” This was my mantra. Hang in there:)

Look, I don’t care that it’s cold, but the goddamn snow. I can’t…I’m old, I’m out of shape, every time I shovel I think I’m having a heart attack. I hate snow boots and miss sexy shoes.

I know;). It is hard to make snow boots sexy:)

I have had same kind of feelings today. Told myself that not all days can be great and decided to get a better day tomorrow. Wish that for you too 😉
