tip toe’ing

i tip toe through words

wondering what i should write ~

give the reader what they want

or

convey these feelings deep down inside.

it is always a tug of war ~

pulling this way and that…

never knowing

where to fall

or

if i should relent ~

simply

collapse?

…

those who know me have seen moments

of darkness

and

unfiltered fear,

mixed with pessimism,

anger

and

rapid flowing tears

but

there are days when my thoughts

walk into the light

and

the words i present

are carefree

and

bright.

what i do lack

~ however ~

is a muse by my side.

i prefer ‘all’ which surrounds me

to be my inspiration ~ ~ ~

to be my guide.

It was a wild night with mom on the couch, watching public TV, Jordy dancing to The Doobie Brothers and Peyton with his nose in his I-pad thingy. So wild in fact…I could not contain my emotions…. Did I mention I was forced to stay up wayyyy past my bedtime?

~

To my WordPress Family

“This is the life…..”

a quickie note:  The water bottle above was mine then became Peyton’s.  It was ‘the water bottle’ used when he hit his grand slam in baseball – many, many years ago, and present through countless soccer games, baseball games, running meets (my Ironman) – thus, becoming ‘the’ prized water bottle.

~

“Is this heaven because I think this is heaven…”

a quickie note:  She is so, so, so happy right now.

~

One last quickie note:  When we returned home, I told Peyton I would run his water bottle through the dishwasher – his response – “It’s okay, Sydnee is family.”  Mom’s response – “Yes, this is true, she is your sister.”

“Excuse me Miss – what did you do in the powder room?”  “Please look at Mommy….”

“Why are you smiling…have you nothing to say for yourself?”

What you do not see is big Pee (Sydnee’s brother Peyton) saying…”Ahhhh, she is just a little puppy.  Sydnee Pee is just trying to speak her mind….”

Mommy has one thing to say – “Really?”

Note to reader:  Pee leaning back into what we like to call ‘lounge position’

Translation – “ah…” {this is the ‘buzzed on Tum Tum’ look }

As one can see, Tum Tum is a crucial part of Pee’s everyday existence as a princess.

Oh, and yes, she is on Mommy’s bed….

Sydnee Pee has many ‘looks’.  The one above, I believe, is the “I am dreaming” look.  What is she dreaming?  What is it she sees that I cannot?  Is she dreaming of running with other puppies?  Is she dreaming of visiting her daddy in heaven?  Is she dreaming of rolling in a tub of boneys and eating herself silly?  I do not know.  What do you think?
