The Merci Series Part III

Good Monday Afternoon Bloggerbuddies!

For the past week, I have been itching to complete the Merci Series. I decided I could not take the scratching anymore, so I figured I would squeeze this one in amidst the mayhem of my Monday. Before I continue, however, I would like to say that I am honored to be nominated for the awards I have been given. I enjoy writing very much. Each one of these awards is like the icing on the cake, cherry on top of the sundae, the chocolate in a chocolate bar….. With that said, I take nominating my fellow bloggers very seriously. I love cooking up these posts and I enjoy spreading the love to the bloggers I read everyday (doing my best to achieve the ‘everyday’ right now) and to the blogs I have yet to discover. So without further adieu….

First and foremost, I would like to say Thank You to ordinarygirlinbrum for nominating me for this lovely award. I remember the first time I read her blog – I was attached. I felt an instant connection to someone for whom I felt could understand the same things I was (and still am) going through. The title of this blog may state ‘ordinary’, but it is far from – it is extraordinary – very inspiring. So, please do visit the “ordinary girl in Brum”. You will be inspired, too.

I really adore each of the aforementioned blogs. For me, they all have something in common – I was hooked from the first moment I discovered their writing. I can either be falling off of my chair laughing, crying (this is a good thing) or inspired. I have learned so much from these writers and for this I am very grateful. To me, this is the most valuable gift of all.

Five things I would like to do:

1. Hike the Appalachian Trail.
2. I would love to see the Metropolitan Opera perform at the Met in NYC.
3. Return to my hometown and see the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra perform at Music Hall.
4. Visit the Florida Keys.
5. To own a classic 1965 Ford Mustang convertible.

& the Big Finale:

I would like to thank everyone on WordPress for doing what they do and for giving me a gift – making me feel a part of something so wonderful! I recently stated that I was unable to place into exact words what the WordPress community means to me – I do mean this to be true. What I can say is that I am forever grateful for the friendships, the talent, the laughs, the tears, the food for thought – for every thing each and every blogger has gifted me.
