our journey

we live separate lives

with

many

miles in between

yet

we travel the distance

each day

and

each night

along a road paved

with

thoughts,

feelings

and

~ words ~

Distance is only distance, if you let it affect you!

Very true. I knew someone once who could handle a two hour drive. I ‘knew’ him…

Distance is not a barrier to love as your poem proves. 🙂

Or perhaps the ever popular “True Dat”. I’m too old to be that hip. 🙂

We sure do – and our lives combine. More proof for those we may need it … we are not of the physical, we are merely wearing a physical wardrobe. So awesome Kimberly!

You are so right. Well done. I feel that way about so many people as I maintain friendships at a distance.

Thank you;) i guess the internet makes it easier – we could be using the pony express and/or carrier pigeon. Can you imagine the carrier pigeon version of WP?

Very buff pigeons, they’d be! lol

Buff and you know the song – It’s Raining Men? Well, It’s Raining Sh*t! Just think of all of the poop……..

      • 19. joeyfullystated  |  October 22, 2014 at 10:18 pm

And then there’d be so few trees to catch the poo…

Maybe pony express would be better but……….that could be messy, too. Oh well…aha Morse Code!!

We’d never get anything done, sitting around deciphering all day!
Wow, I knew I loved the internet, but perhaps not to the degree that I feel at this very moment!

The connections and friendships I have gained through that road you do speak of, I thank God for each and every day. A wonderful world has been opened to me via that road. Wonderful poem expressing so many of us, whose lives have been touched by this road. Thank you. Love, Amy
