we tiptoe around one another’s thoughts

play in one another’s dreams.

we swim in one another’s veins

tug on one another’s heart strings.

writers,

readers,

lovers,

friends

~ transforming ~

the essence of who we are

into

words with wings ~ setting them free

to soar

upon the world.

I cross T’s, I dot i’s.

I string words into lines ~ ~ ~ of verse,

I create a vessel in which to sail

an ever-changing sea

~ yet ~

is

deep

within

the static pools of silence…

where

dive

beneath each

sigh ~

thoughts

feelings.

it seems that awhile

is just that ~ ~ ~ awhile.

never anything more,

never anything less

which

makes me wonder ~ ~ ~

awhile can never be forever,

but

awhile is better….than never.

right?

The Louvre

the lights of Paris have embraced my mind

and

inspired my thoughts ~

reigniting dreams

from

a childhood…… long passed……

a lesson from above

soaking up the rays

there is much more to the eye

than a crystal blue sky ~

it is a powerful reminder

to be grateful

for each moment given….

to be alive.

**though we have had vortexes combined with snow, ice, wind gusts, rain, thunder, lightning, melting, flooding….all within a period of a few weeks…we have had a few sunny days with no clouds and beautifully incandescent blue skies….
