Big Wishes meet Big Dreams

Enjoy your bite of the big shiny apple.

Savor all of its goodness

and

what makes it unique.

You will never find another fruit so delicious,

so juicy ~ you will be

amazed & inspired.

So,

eat as much as you can

and

pay attention

to all that you savor…..oh….and

you may come across

a little seed left by me.

Please

leave it where it is

and

maybe

just maybe,

you will plant

a little seed of your own.

Peyton is on his way to his mother’s favorite place in the whole wide world ~

Spring Break – 2006

When the Weekly Photo Challenge popped into my email, I could not help but giggle.  Sign manufacturing is my line of business, so I see letters everyday – big ones, small ones, illuminated ones, non-illuminated ones, made of acrylic, made of aluminum….We fabricate them, install them, service them….  So, when it came time to pick a photo, let me just say there are thousands to choose from.  I decided, however, to post two photos which hold a very special place in my heart.

Spring Break 2006 – Bill, the boys and I took a cross-country trip.  I suppose you can say it was inspired by Harvard Lampoon’s Family Vacation – minus Clark, Cousin Eddie, Aunt Edna and Wally World.  The photos above really do not require any explanation.  These are two quintessential signs; recognizable by most people, whether you live in the US or not.  I mean… how can one not recognize the Las Vegas sign?
