Well today is the day – the film is complete and being submitted this morning and then it is placed into the hands of the faculty.   He is a very tired young man and he is swamped with work.  (After all, he is in college – a double major of, not just film, but business.)  His school year is winding down… he will be home next weekend…then he gets his wisdom teeth pulled!

I must say, I am liking the editing beard.  I told him that his face is now hairier than Pee’s!  I wonder what she will think?

my everything

my boys are both here

it is quiet no longer

i am now complete

my little nutty boys

tiny pictures taken many years ago….

Yes, a complete set and with Sydnee Pee a balance has been achieved.  Much laughing, cooking, eating and ‘cleaning’ to be had with lots of tum tum, walkies and cuddles.  Life is good.

the chef

during the day

he is a teenager,

doing what teenagers do

but

by night…

he transforms…

into a master with a spoon.

ˆ

he slices and he dices,

he folds and he stirs –

along with his many cookbooks

he looks quite de rigueur.

ˆ

ever since i can remember,

he has had a spoon in his hand –

all the way back

when wearing a diaper…

playing with my many pots and pans.

ˆ

as my tot sprouted to a kid,

his interest in cuisine continued to grow –

with an evolving palate,

love of chocolate

and

the explosion of television cooking shows.

ˆ

with encouragement from yours truly

and a few special friends,

the kitchen became his workshop –

to this young budding chef.

ˆ

his career began

quite simply

with baking a chocolate cake

and

now

he is creating spice rubs –

for grilling a huge slab of steak!

ˆ

he may still be a teenager,

with his future unknown to us all,

but

i am thinking this young man with a spoon

will be answering the epicurean call.

ˆ

in the beginning

in the beginning

&

the present time
