Overture – Introduction

•

Somewhere a heart is beating

to a rhythm known only to my touch ~

This is where a concerto of possibility… awaits…

First Movement – Opening Sonata – Allegro

•

There is an anticipation wrapped in silence

~ followed by a glance ~

A spark of enchantment enveloping two spirits

whereupon inspiring

a beguiling yet frolicsome tone…

•

Second Movement – Adagio

•

The timbre of two hearts

create a crescendo of expression

~ building a bridge to a melody ~

A pathway to feelings not quite understood

but

present in both mind and body…

Third Movement – Barcarolle

•

Each

Moment is given,

Each moment received,

Each moment is a gift,

in which two hearts

~ may breathe as one ~

and

Sail on a dream through

each sunrise and sunset of love…

Fourth Movement – Scherzo

•

Flitting about

Each spirit reacts ~

a lively gigue of giggles and glee

Such joy excites!

~ a pulse ~

Racing!

Leaping!

Impelling two dreams to be as one…

Fifth Movement (final) – Meditation/Sonata

•

Love’s melody can soar

to unbridled heights ~

above quiet clouds

and

stormy seas… yet…

the passage of time can

temper each spirit as harmony

~ struggles ~

to find the right key…

Oh…

the cadenza of passion can be blazing or frigid

scattering doubts

just like a breeze ~ ~ ~

~ always transforming ~

the rhythm of two hearts…….

composing a symphony of infinite possibilities………

As those who follow me know,  I have art work everywhere in my house.  98% belongs to the boys and the other 2% belongs to professional artists and friends. (Yes, Gigi, that would be you.)  Last year, I commissioned Peyton to draw a portrait of his sister.

The above photo was posted awhile back on Michelle’s Weekly Pet Challenge.  The first time I laid eyes on it, I saw the perfect Pee portrait. So with this in mind and an empty wall, conveniently located around the corner from last year’s portrait, I decided to commission another piece.

As one can see, my favorite works of art belong to my boys.  One can say that my entire house is a ‘Museum de Jordan et Peyton’.  What I have posted above is a small sample from my collection.  Some of these pieces have been previously featured on my blog.
