Bring on the Happy!

NY Pee

It was a wild night with mom on the couch, watching public TV, Jordy dancing to The Doobie Brothers and Peyton with his nose in his I-pad thingy. So wild in fact…I could not contain my emotions…. Did I mention I was forced to stay up wayyyy past my bedtime?

my words

my words will never fly away

to where i wish them to go –

they will never reach beyond the stars

or

swim amongst the mysteries

in the seas below.

they may tempestuously stumble one at a time,

gracefully prance upon a page

or

fester deep within the chasm of my unconsciousness

and

never see the light of day.

this i can attest

 – however –

a truth i can never, ever deny

my words derive from

just one place

a soul which dwells very deep inside…

it is i

who gives them life,

and

it is i

who can toss them aside.

they share every breath and beat of my heart,

evolving from my light

as well as

  my

dark.
