Weekly Pet Challenge – “Oh Mommy…really…”

~

~

IMG_9731

“Oh mommy…really do you have to use the big bad vacuum?”

~

Not much to say except, Mommy had to vacuum, which meant interrupting Sydnee Pee’s sunbathing session, which meant flashing Mommy the big brown eyes and dropping the big pointy ears and making Mommy feel guilty…but Mommy overcame the torture and did what any housecleaning Mommy has to do – suck up all of the dog hair being shed by ‘you know who’!

Weekly Pet Challenge – A big day for the Pee’s

No one leaves the house without Sydnee Pee’s seal of approval…

pee looking at pee

“Let me look at you Peeton – you must be dressed for success!”

first day of work

“Isn’t he just the cutest?  He looks just like me – woof woof !”

time to go

“Is it time to go to work now ?”

Yes, it was a big day in our house.  Peyton has gotten his very first job and Monday was his very first day of work.  It was a big moment for Peyton…and for Pee.  She takes her responsibilities as little sister very seriously.  She gave him the total once over – sniffed quite a bit then gave him a kiss.  When it came to time to go vroom vroom, she was ready to rock-n-roll.  She would have driven the car if she could…

As those who follow me know,  I have art work everywhere in my house.  98% belongs to the boys and the other 2% belongs to professional artists and friends. (Yes, Gigi, that would be you.)  Last year, I commissioned Peyton to draw a portrait of his sister.

The above photo was posted awhile back on Michelle’s Weekly Pet Challenge.  The first time I laid eyes on it, I saw the perfect Pee portrait. So with this in mind and an empty wall, conveniently located around the corner from last year’s portrait, I decided to commission another piece.

a more ‘enlightened photo’ – can you see where mommy kinda, may possiblydoesn’t, wishes she could sleep????

It’s all good.  No worries.  Sydnee Pee did not lose a wink of beauty sleep.  Not a one.

Weekly Pet Challenge – Mommy’s foot stool

Saturday morning on the porch with Mommy

A typical Saturday morning with my coffee, my I-pad, my Pee…

Weekly Pet Challenge – “woe is me” Pee

*

After five straight days of pure ‘brothers’ bliss:

*

photo 3

“I do not understand, why do they have to leave? Can’t they see I am forlorn?”

*

photo 4

“Away with you Mommy – I am trying to look pitiful for Peyton…leave me be…you are ruining my attempt at looking pathetic.”

*

Not much else to say really – she mopes till they walk at the door and then there is one more display of pure unmitigated woe – as we pull out of the driveway and she is looking through the blinds….  This I cannot photograph – I am driving and the boys choose not to look.  It is a deadly stare – the kind that can drive a knife into your chest – make you feel like the worst mom and/or brothers in the whole world.
