sidelines

I miss the sidelines of yesteryear ~

when time and space existed in unison ~

as each moment unfolded

and

our dreams embraced.

Now,

the passage of time and distance have altered these lines.

You have taken flight

~ chasing angels ~

whose beacons flash the promises of dreams.

&

I stand here

~ quietly ~

as my patience longingly awaits

~ words ~

to scroll……. across……. a……. screen…….

A somber one, Kimberly. I think we all are waiting for the words to scroll.

I agree – always waiting it seems. :).
