i jumped

Kindred Words

.

the other day,

i jumped off of a cliff.

i am not certain if i cleared the rocks of fear ~ ~ ~

one moment…

i am swimming in a deep blue sea embraced by waves of freedom

&

the next…

i feel jagged stones

gashing my skin,

landing in pools of blood

and

surrounded by the fires of hell.

The jump off the cliff is me quitting my job.

ah, that is a scary place to be. Are you thinking of doing something new or is it that you need a break?

I am looking for something similar but I do not want to work in the same industry – or have anything to do with the same industry that could possibly cross paths with my former employer.
