Weekly Photo Challenge – Depth

Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL

My aspiring movie maker/Oscar-winning hopeful son attends SIU.  Last year with the aid of some very sophisticated film equipment (compliments of the University), he took several photos on campus.  What you see above is the lake situated in the center of the campus itself.   I was under the impression the pylons were ‘once upon a time’ parts of a pier, but they are actually a marker of some sort.  Jordan told me that he had to lie on his stomach, with his chin on the ground in which to capture the shot.

What else can I say except, “Hollywood… here he comes!

I can’t believe this snow. OMG…enough already. Hope you are doing okay and feeling a bit better about leaving he bad guy behind. I hope you find a new job soon and that things work out just the way you want them to 🙂 Hugs on Pee…you too, of course…LOL

Thank you. Poor Pee – we had trouble finding a spot for her to do her ‘stuff’ outside. She cannot jump over a two foot mound of snow. The plows pushed all the snow in an area which is blocking access to her grassy knoll. Plus, it is too cold – she cannot walk too far to get to the areas where she could possibly access. Oy…….
