~
some
would say
i wear my darkness well
~ too well ~
in fact…
this may very well be true
but
without
‘some’
darkness for contrast ~
how will one ever see
my light shine through?

It is in the darkest shadows that the edges of our true character are formed. It is also a fact that without a beautiful light, those defining shadows would never exist.

I agree, or i try to look at it that way – thus i scribbled a piece which reflects this. But, many people say this but do not practice what they preach – thus they leave.

When they leave they lose the gift of balance. Light and shadow are what makes us whole. But when the leave it creates more room for our light to cast beautiful shadows.
