*little star*

*

have you seen my little star?

high up in the sky?

she is quite unique,

~ unlike the others ~

not very big

or

shine too bright.

*

most nights you will never see her

as she hides behind the moon ~

polishing her pointes,

practicing her twinkles

and

waiting patiently to hear my tune.

*

one night,

when you look up in the sky

you will know

~ undoubtedly ~

which star is mine…

she is the one that is leaping

and

twirling about

dancing until the end of time…

A star wearing tutu! Leaping over clouds and twirling in the breeze. Yes, I can see the elegance in this. To a waltz – Lehar’s Merry Widow waltz. 😉

Thanks;). I was picturing a star wearing a tutu dancing on stage at Music Hall. This is where I imagine all of my dances – dreams. 🙂

Is that you in the funny hat? Said the Postman to the rat; Is that your Cat; said the Berry to the breeze; is that your mat said the donkey to the person, Is that what; said the question mark to the other Ws. Think we might get on, said the star to the guitar; think so too said the maid to the brigadoon. Follow-up soon, said the soldier to the nurse, who’d taken such great care of his arm, that she had it pointed straight to THAT star; not so far really….
