Thank you. I was inspired by a very special friend that told me I have to break a few branches in order to get to the top of the tree. He is gone now, but I have never, ever forgotten his loving advice.

I am. One teensy twig at a time. It has been pretty windy here lately (duh, I love in Chicago) – so I have been spending more time on the ground under the tree – instead of on the tree. I even had to fend off a few dogs – boy dogs…….;)

        LOL
All boys are dogs, but we find them loveable just the same 🙂

Yes, you are so right – with the exception being my young men – essentially because they have 1/2 my genes. I have saved them from a life in the dog house!!!!!! I knocked myself silly off my chair;)

Love your line breaks in this! Feels like a person pausing cautiously before continuing the climb. ❤

Sometimes, I break the branches on purpose. Not all that grow are good. 😉
