three little words

they can lift you –

give you wings

drop you –

to your knees

set you free

ensnare you

make you laugh

make you cry

three little words

wield so much power

these little words

i love you.

Utterly agree. But would venture to add just this. That those words when ‘voiced’ in the eyes of your lover, whether human or animal, can speak as loudly as the tongue.

      Certainly! Works perfectly;)

  • And my heart fluttered. I know nothing about poetry or lines or anything like that — but I know when I like something — and I love this!

To clarify those words I have loved all these at this point I’m on the ensnare!

      • 12. words4jp  |  June 27, 2014 at 3:36 am

Yep, me too. I actually had fun writing this because most people see this as the good and the bad. I actually see it as the good all the way around. Think about it – we. One falls in love, it is like being ensnared – caught in their web – can’t think of anything but them. Like a spider – we are their prey. Being prey is not always a bad thing.

But I agree, I get the not so great part too. That is why I wrote it – to see how people would interpret it;)

I love it! Very thought provoking! 💗💗
