stories of a time long passed

feeling each word deep inside

tears…quietly slow dancing

singing to sad songs

Hey how did you get my playlist??? My girl listens to sad love songs a lot. We drive to work in tears! Something about them is healing I think!

And the very next thing I read, “Life’s challenges are not supposed to paralyze you; they’re supposed to help you discover who you are.” Bernice Johnson Reagon

Thanks. I quite a bunch. I really should not listen to them. I couldn’t – for about a year in a half, but started listening again.. I love the music and I know the lyrics and sing a lot, basically because I mostly have no one to talk to. The boys don’t mind it and Pee, well, she says nothing. But I love singing, so I started listening to music I love. I figure the ones who destroyed me inside have taken enough as it is, I cannot let them take my love of music. Unfortunately, sometimes I cry, but so be it. What else is new? 😉

I think that’s a good thing to cry. Sometimes it’s better out than in and it may as well be because of a beautiful memory laden song 🙂

there is another George song I love on this playlist – George Jone’s – He Stopped Loving Her Today – it is a complete tear jerker and beautiful… A classic country song with a heartbreaking story.
