ßill, Peyton and Jordan

a little note:  This is quite a wonderful picture – not because Bill and Peyton have a pretzel in their eye and Jordan was trying to hold a pretzel in his eye, failed and looked utterly goofy – no – it is a wonderful photo because #1.  Peyton had a grilling fork in his hand and #2.  Jordan had the Chicago Tribune movie section in his lap.  If there is one thing Bill did that was so very, very special, it was to encourage my boys’ passion – cooking, food and movies. & when the three were together, I could never tell who the grown up was……ever…

What a sweet and precious memory and photo! Bless your sweet heart Kimberly! I’m sending you big hugs. I wish we lived closer we could sit down and gab over a glass of wine, coffee or tea or all 3. Friday nights are hard aren’t they? They always are for me and I don’t know why! :0

I hate Friday nights. This is the first weekend in three weeks that I have no boys. None – nada- zilch. Gots Pee though but she is moping terribly. She wants her brothers here.

Used to live in the Chicago area (Palatine) and definitely know about Wisconsin Dells. Nice photo and great memory. Seems the future for the boys was foretold.

I do remember you telling me that you lived in my neck of the woods. Bill loved taking the boys to Yogi Bear Campgrounds. The 4 of us had so much time and they loved ganging up on me. Sometimes it got to the point where I just had to throw in the towel and throw out the rules:

While your feelings of loss are, naturally, expressed in the past tense, your ability to express your love and compassion is a beautiful and powerful constant for you. Be at peace with that – you deserve that.
