Can you see them?

*

I look up in the sky and I can see them…

*

they flit about & float around,

soar through the clouds

or

quietly hover overhead.

*

some are bright & flamboyant

and

some could use a little polish

or

a splash of color.

*

there are the really, really big ones –

the very teeny, tiny ones

and

there are many middle-of-the-road ones.

*
there are lots of practical ones,

totally rockin’ cool ones

and

the way, way beyond unusual ones.

*

some are new to this world

and

some have been in existence for centuries.

*

no one knows where they come from

and

no one knows where they are going.

*

What is known is this –

*

they are what they are

and

they do what they do

and

it the responsibility of the thinkers and dreamers

to

keep them alive…

*

I can see them – CAN YOU?

I was wondering if I should put the answer to what it is – do you think people understood it?

Love, love, love this poem. I am fascinated by clouds and the pictures they form and how they morph from one second to the next!!
