directing….right before calling action!

Updates from the set:

I woke up this morning to a sweet surprise from my son – an action shot of my boy directing a movie!

One more tidbit – Apparently he has not shaved in 2 weeks – he has named ‘it’ an editing beard.  Humph, he promises a selfie ……..

I just gotta see this …

My Alex comes home everyday and tells me the procedures she does with her drs and I can’t believe this is my kid! So I know exactly what you mean.

I agree – huh? I do not know what it is about my boys and their fascination with facial hair – I have been told it is about being gnarly. So, I am waiting to see this gnarly beardy thing:)

Gnarly makes me think of winter trees hanging over a cliff at the ocean…. Not “awesome” facial hair. But what do we moms know? 😉

we know nothing. it is all about the gnarly, not the awesome, or cool, or rad….. . 🙂

I love this – it could be read in multiple ways though – you can give it a bleaker meaning by thinking of the ‘director’ as an addiction or eating disorder voice in your head which is how I first read it because my mind is skewed that way. The final word makes the whole meaning change.

Thanks. I understand what you are saying. This is probably an hourly conversation in my head;)

I wish him luck with his venture. It’s not an easy path to go straight to director. The editing beard is pretty adorable.
