tug of war

a constant struggle

one voice combats another

unseen and silent

neither side claims victory

mind versus the heart – always

heart 1

Nice…so which one is right? 🙂 I tend to go with heart, and usually that lands me in trouble, but suffering is part of the comedy of life, is it not?

It is my heart. I write something once – can remember the post where I stated that the bigger the heart the more it hurts – but the bigger the heart the more we are capable of loving. Catch -22?

        Catch-22

Wanna get matching tattoos ending in 22? We can compare mistakes over coffee on 5th Avenue, get blasted in Jersey and go for a walk in Central Park, laugh a little at couples skipping rocks. We shoot with a heart loaded with love, but we know we’re leaving nothing undone.Let our headstones read “here lays another fool, their heart will always weep in pairs, twos…It’s the only way they knew how to love”

        Yeah it’s a catch 🙂

Ugh…tug of war. This really touched home with me this weekend! Mind vs heart – who will be the victor? I never know 🙂
