you to see

what i want you

to see and what it

is – a reflection of –

the me that i am and fight

as each day and each night passes

into another year of life lived.

i allow you to see the me – i hate.

Surely, I misunderstood your last line? Surely, you are not a person you hate??

I wasn’t sure to “like” this or not! I did because I believe that through poetry we are able to get the “dark” out. The part of us that doesn’t love ourselves the way we should. I too often only let people see the part of me that I want them to see! You are an amazing woman and the parts you let me see…and those you don’t…I love them all!!! xoxo
