it is…

another night where sleep alludes me…

another night where loneliness drowns me…

another night where thoughts overwhelm me…

another night where blood drips from my heart…

another night where i wish i could fly…

could fly far, far away…

far away in the sky…

in the sky where i can be free…

can be free…

Me too, I’ve tried sleeping through it but it never works 😉

Girl I was just saying to myself did I even sleep last night??? I take Lunesta and have suffered with insomnia for 7 years now. It’s crazy. Not sleeping makes you focus on not sleeping thus keeping you from sleeping. It’s a vicious cycle. Then you think of all the things that are wrong, then you make yourself think right and wrong then right. OMG the insanity of it all. Sorry I went a little nuts there but I need sleep too! 🙂

It’s the constant thoughts that won’t let go. Fortunately when daylight comes, the thoughts of the night seem silly.

You are quite right. Many times this does seem to be the case…;)

If you wrote this poem exclusively for me…you did it perfectly. It’s wonderful. Thank you.

Pee has been allowing me to lay my head on her. She doesn’t seem to mind – too much. She had those meaty hamhockers (we call the hammies).

Dear Lord, why is it that so many of us don’t sleep while the remainder of the world seems to be resting and getting the sleep they need to recharge their bodies and minds. We want desperately to do the same and our racing minds refuse to cooperate. Thank you, Lord, for allowing those who get a restful nights sleep for remembering to be a bit gentle with us during the day light hours.

I say amen to that;) let’s hope we get some restful sleep some day. xxxx

I know this feeling all to well…and i ache for you for the pain and memories that swell and blind in those restless moments. ((Hugs))
