rows of sentinels

guardians sent from above

the gifts of friendship

I liked the picture before I read the poem. Then liked it even more after reading the poem. And of course interpret as I want.

Trees/friends standing neither near nor far. Not needing to speak or question or give advice. Asking for nothing, not interfering. But always ever ready.

I love your interpretation – I saw this as well. 🙂 xx

Your poem is a perfect fit for your picture! I always think of trees as sentinels!
