Monday Morning
January 6, 2014
Monday Afternoon
Monday Night
outside temperature: – 19°, felt like -37°
inside temperature: toasty warm on Mommy’s bed
A certain young lady is not liking the weather. Who could blame her? I have noticed, though, that my little girl is beginning to show her ‘maturity’. The arthritis in her back legs and inability to process ‘regular cold temperatures’ has become a new adventure for us. We shall prevail…..

It is – I hope you are staying warm. I was home yesterday, but today i had to come into work. Pee would not get off my bed this morning. I did manage to get her off and outside for her business – I anchored a heavy bath towel around her. I must say, she was a brave little lady at 5:15am.
Stay warm and safe:)

We are still digging out. I couldn’t leave if I had to. The joys of living in the country.

If I didn’t know that was a dog, I would think it wasn’t a dog.
Curled up on the sofa with a blanket. I just add a heating pad too.

In our house the 3 lettered word dog is looked upon as a 4 lettered word;)
Actually, I have used a heating pad for her. Her arthritis in her hind legs is acting up quite a bit. I feel terrible for her.

My dog has an injury from puppyhood that makes her front paw weak. She has done a lot more hobbling outdoors during this storm. We’ve had her on the sofas for a lot more snuggles, too. I hope it balances out.

I am so sorry to hear that. Syd is a tripod – no right front leg. We knew arthritis was inevitable and it is here. Began last year. But I have never seen her this weak before. I feel helpless.
