the wanderers keep looking
no warmth to be found
death waits with a steady hand
compassion opens its door

I do hope there are some kind hearts to be found for those left out in the cold, a wonderful and compassionate piece.

beautiful, my thoughts are often with the homeless, especailly during the winter. there was a time i was a step away from being on the streets myself, so easy to fall into so hard to climb out.
