thanks – it is what is there that one cannot really see that probably hurts the most.

Hey we are sisters, I’m part Titanium too, lol! Mine is in my lower leg. I think we are just part Wonder Woman…

Can you imagine what would happen at the airport if we both went thru security at the same time?

Wow, you are very inspiring! xo

Thank you. The big scar is quite impressive – at least my boys think so – mom/metal/bionic mom. It’s the scars that barely show which are the least impressive.

I have scars myself both on the outside and inside. I understand.

Looks like you had a great surgeon, with a delicate hand. It’s very neat and tidy and thin. All you could want in a scar. 🙂
17. words4jp | January 10, 2014 at 4:23 pm
it is so funny you would say that – i actually had a surgical student! i was told by someone i could have had staples, but i was taken to a teaching hospital (I was in no shape to designate where i wanted to go – plus i was in another state far from home by myself). it seems that the over 100 stitches were practice:)

You lucked out then!! Staples look hideous, and they can leave a series of nearby scars, depending on the size staples. They made me feel like Frankenstein when I had them. I hated them.
