The Land of the Sweets could not be complete without Mother Ginger and her children – running out from under her big skirt to romp and play. Think of Mother Ginger as a person standing on a moving theatrical set, with a huge costume covering what is underneath – little children (and the technician rolling…). This is a rousing and amusing piece and of course, there are these ‘sweet’ little children dancing… I was never a ginger child, but I do recall one particular ginger kid who grew up to be a famous actress. She and I danced together for a spell…..does the name Sarah Jessica Parker ring a bell?

If I could add the music to your words, that would be awesome. Thanks again, Kim for sharing these:)

Oh and Sarah Jessica Parker, wow! I had a crush on her when she was on “Square Pegs,” let’s keep that between us 😉
