I find it risky to make friends. One little word or one little action and they are gone.
Don’t like sounding down about it, but it has happened.

I agree. Then there are the ones who say they will be around for always and then they disappear. 😉

Maybe there is a poem in what they have contributed to her experience, albeit it may have been brief? Very sad poem, but I do like it. Take care –

You just have not met the right type of friend. I know you will. Maybe you already have, but your fear is keeping you from opening the door. Praying for you, Sweetie!!
Hey!! Have a Happy Thanksgiving if I do not bump into you over the next few days. Much love sent your way!!!

In the Chinese zodiac, my sign is the Rat. And, supposedly, rats rarely make lasting friendships. I don’t believe in “zodiac stuff” usually … but … the whole description that day was “bang on”. Always wondered about that … no one ever seems to hang around.

It is true. Come to think of it, I believe I am a rat, too.

Frustrating isn’t it?! But remember it is quality not quantity that counts. I’d rather have 1 or 2 true friends than a bunch of fairweather ones.
