kiss of winter

trees dancing

leaves floating down

like colorful rain

landing on frost kissed grass.

air which nips one’s nose and toes,

flannels and fleece to warm them up

and hot cocoa to sip and savor.

wrath of winter is preparing her BITE.

And winter will most likely take a bigger bite up your way than down here.

You are right, sounds like a great night for hot cocoa. Enjoy and stay warm.
