friday night lights – then and now

Then:
Last year, my son Peyton was a freshman in high school. He was also in the marching band. On September 7th, 2012 Jordan and myself attended the home game. The band was awesome, our team won, it was exciting – BUT – there was another grand performance which took place – high above the game –
Now:
Last night, the two P’s and I took a walk along Lily Lake down the road from where we live. We were gifted with quite a performance. It was as if two separate stories were being told simultaneously – the southern sky and the western sky.
What might we see next year?

How is you son? I hope he is okay. I read about his anxiety issue in a comment you had written. xx

Thanks for asking! His psychotic fears are increasing lately. We just went to see the psychiatrist… she suggested to add medication but my son doesn’t want to take more pills. He is also having IPEC therapy (something absolutely wonderful. Helped me too with all kinds of issues. Here is some info if you’re interested: http://www.ipectherapy.com ) but as he pays for that out of his own pocket he can’t have as many sessions as he would need…

Wow, wow, wow, love this gallery. Beautiful captures! They all are so perfect! My favorite colors of the sunset are purples, and orange. 🙂

Thank you. They are quite pretty. The one’s from last year are what got me fixated on taking photos of the sky.

These are achingly beautiful sunsets — amazing! Although the Face in the Sky is a bit eerie. Fascinating, but eerie: a very strong I-want-to-sculpt-Devil’s-Tower-in-my-mashed-potatoes type of eerie.

I agree it is freaky!! Those three pics are so cool – when I took them I had no idea how they would turn out. I was quite amazed how they looked on my I-phone post ‘click’.
