feelings felt

heart torn to pieces

with cuts so deep –

they endlessly bleed

a mask worn to cover scars –

inside and out

trust non-existent

replaced with fear

locked doors

doubt flooding the mind,

diminishing the soul

life sheltered –

shut in

from the outside world

an internal tug-of-war

with no victory in sight

Okay. I’ve been busy with stuff – work and Peyton starting back to school and his soccer games. Having anxiety about the upcoming holidays and dealing with a of that sh@t. So I write about it;).
