polka dots twinkling

under a vast dark canvas

a floating thumb nail

five legs quietly traipsing

before the day awakens

a post script:

Kimberly = 2 legs

Sydnee Pee = 3 legs

Total: 5 legs traipsing

      it is kind of funny to hear us walk in the early morning – Syd has a distinctive badump, badump sound to her stride, plus the little tap of her toes nails. I just sound like the typical humanoid.

      I would have tried to get a picture, but it is dark and she and I are barely awake. Besides getting her up that early to do her thing is like trying to pull teeth!

    Ha! This made me giggle…I was wondering about the leg count. I think you should use “a vast indigo canvas” as a word prompt…just saying.
