a what?

When you look at me, what do you see?
a stick?
a stick with two pieces of duct tape?
an old worn out stick being held together by two pieces of duct tape?
˜
ABSOLUTELY NOT!
Let me enlighten you…
˜
I am my master’s Excalibur.
I have fought gallantly alongside the doers of good
in a kingdom littered with ruthless knights
and
fire-breathing dragons.
˜
I have channeled my master’s life force
to insure the safety of the Republic
and
to all whom reside in our galaxy
and
beyond….
˜
I have brought life to my master’s magic –
igniting the spells needed to battle
the Dark Wizard
and
his followers.
˜
I have traveled back in time
when dinosaurs roamed the earth
and
a large gorilla terrorized
the jungle
&
when the good guys had to fight the bad guys –
I was
(still is)
my master’s
constant companion
˜
So,
I may have begun my life as part of a tree
but
the day my master discovered me on the ground
was the day
my true destiny
was born!

remnants of bark
A few tidbits of interest – Peyton is the master and his sword/saber/wand/machete has been a part of the family for over 8 years. It has suffered two major life threatening injuries.

I love your imagination as you wrote this! Isn’t it great how something that appears ordinary to everyone else can become magical in our imagination. It is what I love about reading and writing! This was great Kimberly 🙂 xoxox

I stumbled across a something in the garage, which in turn led me to the vault of Words4jp, which in turn led me to May 3, 2013, which in turn led me to this post…which in turn led me to a reblog… It’s funny how that happens, isn’t it????? {All of this turning is making me dizzy…….}

I understand. I possess a wooden sword that belonged to my mother, and her father before her. I am not sure if he made it, or if it was made for him.
