We Are Family……

Good day everyone!  After an evening of packing, having nightmares of boxes and bubble wrap and a morning of utter nuttiness,  I thought why not take a time out – few minutes at my desk, drinking an iced tea and hanging out with my “family of friends”.  (cue the song We Are Family – by Sister Sledge……)

This wonderful award has been bestowed upon me by three incredible bloggers – Shaun, Kira and Olivia.  What better way to describe this award than by Shaun himself:

Per Shaun’s words, this gift is bestowed on those bloggers that have made an “impact on the WordPress experience and family”.  All of the above scribes have influenced me in someway.  I have been challenged, consoled, amused, amazed, supported and inspired (to name just a few).  Those times when I forget that the world does not revolve around me, I quickly discover that I am just one of so many others that are experiencing the same trials, tribulations, feelings and thoughts.  It seems we are all connected in some way whether it is our children, pets, hearts, jobs, demons, backgrounds….  We are connected like a family.  Yes, we may never meet face to face or go to lunch or even chat on the phone, but we have become a part of each others lives.  It is actually quite an amazing thing really – to look at one’s dashboard and see the little map and flags from all over the world then come to realize, “WOW”, this world really is not such a big place after all – it is – we are – a family of friends.

To my WordPress family and to the WordPress family I have yet to discover – Thank You for doing what you do and remember….
